About Us

Adair Country Inn & Restaurant is an intimate and romantic retreat for couples who wish to relax, observe wildlife, and take advantage of nearby hiking, skiing and the natural attraction of New Hampshire's White Mountains. From its long drive bordered by stately pines, gleaming white birch trees and stone walls to its picturesque setting on a knoll with spectacular views of the White Mountains, Adair Country Inn & Restaurant offers fine New England style cuisine in a cozy and casual fireside dining room, patio, pub, or parlor. Dinner reservations are available from 5:00 until 9:00 pm, Wednesday through Sunday.

The Inn is rich in history, with scenic grounds and colorful gardens designed by the Olmsted Brothers (sons of the man who designed New York City's Central Park) providing an atmosphere of quiet splendor. The country estate was built in 1927 by Frank Hogan as a gift to his only daughter, Dorothy Adair Hogan, upon the occasion of her marriage to John W. Guider.

Mark & Brenda Johnson are the sixth and current owners of this romantic country inn and restaurant.

Innkeeper Stacey Rachdorf and Executive Chef Steve Learned welcomes you to Adair Country Inn & Restaurant. Deliberately small, naturally quiet. . .
