North Country Health Consortium seeks a Marketing and Event Coordinator to support its Community Health Worker (CHW) programming and initiatives . This position will focus on statewide outreach, planning, marketing, and event coordination as part of three contracts to build statewide awareness and capacity of the CHW workforce. This full-time opportunity (40 hrs.) is partially remote and reports to the CHW Program Manager.
JOB DUTIES
? Plan and implement statewide events for CHWs and stakeholders such as annual meetings, Summits, listening events, etc. ? Outreach and marketing coordination, including creation and distribution of flyers, brochures, or other informational or educational documents to inform and engage partners and clients ? Develop and implement a CHW awareness program for racial/ethnic minorities and rural populations to promote recruitment for CHW training and increased workforce capacity ? Planning and coordination of logistics for community and professional development education sessions ? Conduct statewide outreach to increase awareness of the NH CHW Coalition and encourage peer engagement opportunities ? Provide support and assistance to evolve the efforts of the NH CHW Coalition to further certification and statewide integration of the CHW workforce
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors Degree or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work
- Experience with community organizing; and working with partners from all sectors
- Strong written, oral, and relationship building skills
- At least 2+ years of residency within the local community, with knowledge of local culture and values, and familiarity with the resources available within the community
- Willingness to travel within NH
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Willingness to complete CHW training (provided by NCHC)
- Candidate must be up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccination
