You are more likely to encounter someone having a mental health crisis than a heart attack. Do you know how to help? Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a 6-hour training with an evidence-based curriculum designed to improve skills and increase the confidence of participants in identifying and helping someone-- a friend, coworker, or neighbor in need-- who is developing mental health problems or experiencing a mental health crisis. Taking this MHFA training will require prior completion of a 2-hour self-study that must be completed by August 25; register by August 15th at: https://nchcnh.info/MHFA-August2022 Participants must complete both the self-study and be present for the full virtual training day on August 29 to receive a MHFA certificate. For more information contact Annette Carbonneau at 603-259-3700 x 221 or acarbonneau@NCHCNH.org.
