Bat Conservation & Forestry Workshop
Interested in how you can conserve and enhance bat habitat on your own land? Want to know more about how some of these practices overlap to forest songbirds and help protect water quality? Join the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust on August 4th to learn more about conservation and forestry practices relating to New Hampshire's bat species with Jesse Mohr, ACT's consulting ecologist. 12:30 - 4:30pm: Afternoon Session Indoor presentations on Bat Species of New Hampshire and their Ecology, and Bat Conservation, followed by a Bat and Bird Friendly Forest Management Field Tour.
5:00 - 7:00pm: Early Evening Session (optional) Participants will have the opportunity to hear and see forest birds up-close, during a mist netting seasion with a local bird biologist.

Participants can register for the afternoon session, or the full workshop (both the afternoon and early evening sessions). The deadline to register is July 28th at 5pm.
