About Us

The North Country Chamber Players are a group of world-class musicians who have been coming to the White Mountains every summer for thirty-one years bringing beautiful music to the residents and visitors alike. Founded in 1978, the North Country Chamber Players also provide special off season concerts and bring the thrill of classical music to local area students through their in-school “Cushion Concerts” and mentoring programs.
Enjoy this season’s wonderful White Mountain Music Festival for 5 weeks beginning Friday, July 10th at 7:30 pm at Lincoln’s Governor’s Lodge at Loon Mountain, or Saturday July 11th at 7:30 at the Sugar Hill Meeting House. This “1809” concert celebrates the 200th Anniversary of Haydn’s death and Mendelssohn’s birth with some of their best-known chamber pieces. Other concerts follow each weekend through Sunday August 9th. And don’t miss our fabulous Annual Benefit Auction and Dinner Thursday, August 6th at the air-conditioned Littleton Elks Lodge. The fun begins with our Silent Auction, dinner and music at 6 pm, followed by the Live Auction beginning at 7:30 pm. $20 donation includes dinner and live music. For more auction details and a complete schedule of concerts, venues, detailed programs, photographs and biographies of the Players, please visit our website at NorthCountryChamberPlayers.org.
