The Beal House is hiring a Sous Chef

The Beal House is adding to our small kitchen team! We are searching for a full-time sous chef.
The Beal House is a cozy and rustic American tavern with an emphasis on using local and high-quality ingredients and a heightened focus on technique and execution of classic American staples and comfort foods. Adam Alderin (James Beard Nominated as a Rising Star Chef) is the chef/owner and leads the kitchen team daily.
Are you looking to work somewhere that focuses on good work/life balance? It is our goal to share our passion for great quality food and comfortable dining with a lifestyle that still allows us, as owners, and our team to have a fulfilling life outside the restaurant. We serve dinner only, open five days with two consecutive days off.
While previous sous chef experience would be great, we are willing to mentor and train the right candidate to grow into the position and responsibilities. We feel that enthusiasm, passion for great food, an open-minded attitude, eagerness to learn, and thirst for knowledge are more important than formal training and skills. Those can be taught on the job.
