Job Description
Performs a variety of normal teller and customer service functions, including transaction processing, opening new accounts, and helping customers get the most value from the bank’s products and services.  May serve as backup for reviewing daily overdraft items and communicating with customers.  Manages changes to all types of existing accounts and counsels customers on changes of ownership and terms.  Completes all arrangements and documents for such services as direct deposit, telephone transfers, account assignments and other information cards or forms necessary to insure customer account accuracy. 
Maintains thorough knowledge of all bank products, services, procedures, and regulations.
Accepts consumer loan applications, including interviewing and assisting applicants with the appropriate type of loan product based on their needs, corresponding with applicant for credit decision of either counter offer, denial or approval, coordinating closings, and more.
Performs additional duties as requested. 
Applicants should be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with or without the use of interpretive devices. Must also be able to pay close attention to detail and follow verbal and written instructions.  
Must be able to work weekends, including Sundays.
