Ensemble Aubade Peter H. Bloom, flute Francis Grimes, viola Mary Jane Rupert, piano Chamber Music by C.P.E. Bach, Carl Maria von Weber, Robert Russell Bennett, Karl Henning Ensemble Aubade will perform chamber music spanning four centuries. The Boston-based trio performs across the United States. Peter Bloom is a winner of the American Musicological Society’s Noah Greenberg Award. In a career spanning four decades, he has concertized with chamber ensembles throughout the world. He is also a noted jazz artist, a veteran of the internationally acclaimed Aardvark Jazz Orchestra, now in its forty-sixth season. Francis Grimes has performed with the Boston Pops, Boston Opera, and Boston Ballet. He has toured with the Star Wars Orchestra and several distinguished ensembles in the USA and Europe. A student of William Primrose, he completed his Bachelor of Music at Indiana University. Mary Jane Rupert has demonstrated her artistry from Carnegie Recital Hall to the Beijing Concert Hall. She has appeared with chamber ensembles, choral groups and orchestras across the United States. She serves on the faculties of Boston College and Tufts University and has taught at MIT, Wellesley, and Western Michigan University.
