Bethlehem Hebrew Congregation, in partnership with the Bethlehem Colonial Theatre, will join venues worldwide to present the documentary "Who Will Write Our History." this event to honor the victims of the Holocaust is part of the nation's annual commemoration of the Holocaust established by Congress and led by the US Holocaust memorial Museum. The film reveals the work of Warsaw Ghetto resistance fighters. In 1940, after the Nazis sealed 450,0009 Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto, a secret band of journalists, scholars, and community leaders, led by historian Emanuel Ringelbaum, decided to fight back with pen and paper. They detailed life in the ghetto through diaries, essays, jokes, poems, and songs to document Nazi atrocities. This feature documentary was written, produced and directed by Roberta Grossman with Executive Producer Nancy Spielberg. This event is free and open to the community.
