Gain the skills & core competencies to work as a Community Health Worker (CHW) — or in other roles under the CHW umbrella including, Patient Navigator, Health Assister, Outreach Worker, Home Visitor, Patient Adviser, Patient Advocate etc.— in this 9-week class series!
A front line public health worker who is a trusted member of the community with a close understanding of the North Country, CHWs serve as a liaison between the patient and healthcare and social services to facilitate access to care and improve the quality and cultural competence of service delivery.
